Scholastic Book Fair is Coming: May 9 - 16.  Stay tuned for daily themes, guest readers, and a chance to shop the bookfair with Grandparents (5/10).  
 
Congratulations 8th Grade: Keep them in your prayers as they finalize their high school decisions!  Our 8th graders have been accepted into their top choices of many excellent schools, including Georgetown Prep, Visitation, Stone Ridge, Holy Cross, Holy Child, St. John's and others.  Of note are the many merit-based scholarships offered to our students including the Women in Leadership Scholarship and multiple arts scholarships. 


Admissions '24-'25: RSVP for the Spring Open House Friday, 4/26 from 8:30-10am.  Private and group tours are available by appointment. E-mail to schedule.

Congratulations to the eleven students representing St. Bart's during National Youth Art Month (YAM) at BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germantown, MD. 

 

Youth Art Month, observed since 1961, emphasizes the value of art education and encourages support for quality school art programs. The theme for the 2024 exhibition at BlackRock is Healthy World and will feature original works of art by students throughout the area.

All are encouraged to view the exhibition now through May 5.

March is National Reading Month!  Make it a bit sweeter and participate in our Books and Bundts Reading Challenge!  Students in grades Pre-K through fifth can participate to receive a Free Bundtlet for each month that they read 400+ minutes, from March 1 - May 31, 2004.  Print your log here.

As we move into Poetry Month (April) and Earth Day, we challenge you to dive into poetry, short stories, and a vibrant collection of non-fiction books about our world in our school library.

Field Day is May 17

Spirit Week kicks off on Monday, May 13 and ends with Field Day on the 17th!  Student Council will announce our daily themes and activities.

As we plan and prepare for Field Day, we need your help!  Parents and grandparents are invited to help manage an event, work the First Aid station, write ribbons and help with the most anticipated lunch of the year!
